Business Office Support (BOS)
 

30-35/hours per week LTE (3 months to start; potential for long term employment)

The BOS provides support to the Our Lady Queen of Peace Business Office through financial, Human Resources (HR), and administrative tasks. As part of the Business Office team, the BOS will assist with financial tasks to maintain appropriate checks and balances within the agency. The BOS assists with multiple HR duties, including processing payroll, maintaining employee time sheets, and other tasks related to change in employment terms for employees. The BOS also provides administrative support to help maintain the orderly day-to-day functions of the office.

Employment and Training Coordinator


Full Time

The Catholic Multicultural Center (CMC), a ministry of Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish, is dedicated to helping our brothers and sisters in need by serving the whole person through empowering social ministry. This includes meeting immediate needs, providing educational services, and offering spiritual and cultural activities to recognize and respect the dignity of each person. The CMC fosters multicultural unity and cultivates collaboration among the local Catholic churches, other faith-based organizations, and community entities.

Job Summary: The Educational and Training Coordinator (ETC) is responsible for providing community-based training activities to prepare individuals for employment. Together with community partners and CMC Culinary Creations and Employee Search Assistance staff, the ETC will promote the program, recruit training candidates, and monitor progress of selected candidates.  A full job description can be found on the CMC website.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Two years’ experience working in the area of employment and training; culinary experience a plus

Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule

Proficient computer skills, especially with Microsoft Word & Excel, and internet usage 

Strong communication skills and ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds

Previous non-profit program management, or for-profit department management is a plus

Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) ability is strongly desirable.
