“Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you."

Matthew 7:7

Becoming a Catholic is a spiritual journey of preparation, study, and prayer called the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA). Through OCIA, an adult becomes a fully participating member of the Catholic Church – receiving the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist). It consists of four learning periods, with the goal of being welcomed into full communion with the Church and inclusion in the life of the faith community.

WHAT IS THE OCIA?
