• Continued Confirmation Preparation through Pizza and Theologies, Mini-Courses
and Retreats

• New events and offerings every year!
7TH & 8TH GRADE FORMATION
For 7th and 8th Graders continuing their Faith Formation, we offer classes roughly every other Sunday from 12:30pm to 2pm. These Catechist-led classes help inform students of major Faith topics such as the Creed and Salvation History!

CONFIRMATION PREPARATION
It is important to note that students have a lot of control over the timeline of their preparation for and reception of the Sacrament of Confirmation. This is about YOUR relationship with God and the Church and YOUR choice to confirm that you want to live out your faith for the rest of your life! Everyone’s Journey of Faith looks different, but our standard routine for Confirmation Preparation is as follows:
- During their Freshmen Year of High School, students attend 'Bagels and Basics' classes roughly every other Sunday from 12:30pm to 2pm. We cover a different faith topic each session with the hope of providing students the knowledge needed to give a well-informed YES to their Faith in the Sacrament of Confirmation
- Bagels and Basics classes run from Late September to Late April (see the schedule linked below)
- We ask students to attend at least 11 of the 13 regular classes, and at least one of the 2 Reconciliation classes
- Beginning in the Winter of that year, students can begin attending Mini Courses, Retreats, and Pizza and Theologies
- These offerings ask students to go deeper into their Faith through action, reflection, Scriptural analysis, prayer, and discussion in community with other students preparing for Confirmation
- We ask students to attend a certain number of these offerings based on the number of Bagels and Basics classes they are able to attend (but they can feel free to attend more than that amount, too!)
- After completing the recommended number of classes and course offerings, students attend a Final Prep Retreat alongside their chosen Confirmation Sponsor, as well as a Rehearsal and time for Reconciliation the week leading up to Confirmation Mass
- This is often in the Fall of their Sophomore or Junior year
For those actively working through their Confirmation Preparation, you can log into Confirmation preparation tracking to check your progress! Please reach out if you are having trouble logging in.

YOUTH COMMUNITY EVENTS & OFFERINGS
Faith Formation never ends, never stops, and is never separate from our daily lives! Middle and High Schoolers are never alone on that journey, but sometimes they need a little reminding that their peers are on a faith journey, too! To help remind them of that, we offer:
- Monthly Teen Nights where 7th graders on up can come have some fun with their friends whether it’s playing classic Youth Group games in the School Gym, or wandering through Schuster's Haunted Forest!
- Monthly Fun and Faith sessions, where 10th graders on up can gather in a community of faith with fellow high schoolers to play some games, catch-up with each other through guided reflections, and pray together for a good week ahead.
- Annual traditions such as Summer Mission Trip, The Capitol Christmas Pageant, and Disciple Camp, where students across grade levels come together to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ through service and action, while also growing in friendship and in faith.
