Nov. 30–Dec. 1 & Dec. 7–8 - Project Angel Tree

We have about 125 children of prisoners who are our little “Angels” this year counting on our generosity. Can you help? Volunteers are needed to help with organizational tasks, to staff tables the weekends of November 30 and December 1, and December 7 and 8 and to make deliveries on December 8. Most volunteer opportunities will take no more than 20 minutes to an hour of your time. Scrip cards will be available for purchase after each of the Masses to assist with your Angel Tree purchases. Scrip gift cards, which are available to many local retailers such as Wal-Mart, Target as well as many area grocers, can help make your Angel Tree shopping easy whether making a purchase for a gift or to use for your Angel Tree shopping. Scrip cards must be paid for with cash or by check. We will also provide a table where volunteers will wrap your gift card(s) on the spot, so you’re shopping is made easy. Contact Annette Fox at (608) 231.4615 or sign up online at our Angel Tree 2019 SignUpGenius.

Nov. 30 & Dec. 1 - First Sunday of Advent

Nov. 30 & Dec. 1 is the First Sunday of Advent.

Dec. 1 - Advent by Candlelight

We invite all adult women of the parish and their guests to attend Advent by Candlelight on Sunday, December 1 in the gathering space. Doors will open at 6:00 p.m., and the program will go from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. The evening includes a scrumptious dessert, reflection on the meaning of Advent, music, singing, and prayer. It is a holy, peace-filled evening.

Table hostesses are the foundation of this event. We ask each table hostess to set a table for eight and bring a dessert to share. The parish will provide coffee, juice, water, and milk. Consider sharing the hostess duties with a friend! It is not necessary to fill a table with eight, as we can readily fill open seats with those on the attendance list. To host a table, please contact Cheryl via email or phone at (608) 231.4616. by November 18.
