There’s nothing we enjoy more than sharing the good news about our parishioners, students, staff, and community. And we have a lot of great things to share!
The Queen of Peace Contemporary Youth Choir will be singing at the 5:00 p.m. Mass on Saturday, April 6.
After Mass, they invite you to stay to enjoy a short performance of their favorite praise and worship songs. The Contemporary Youth Choir consists of fifth through eighth graders and accompanied by piano and guitar.
After all Masses, you can purchase bread to support the upcoming summer mission trips. It's the perfect time to stock up on goodies for Easter weekend!
Before and after all Masses, be sure to bring donations to Mass with you to fill the truck for Saint Vincent de Paul! We will be collecting food, clothing, and small household items.
Looking to volunteer? Please consider handing out bags after Mass on April 6 & 7. Be sure to check-in prior to Mass for instructions. We're also in need of volunteers to load the truck 20 minutes before mass, and 10 minutes after on April 13 & 14. Both weekends are a fantastic opportunity for families to get involved! Join us at Mass on Saturday, April 20 at sundown (7:23 p.m.) to help welcome those getting initiated into the church. After Mass, there will be a celebration in the Gathering Space. Please volunteer by helping us bake, serve, or clean-up. Sign-up at SignUpGenius.
Have you been considering checking out contemplative prayer, but wanted to first learn more about what it is? Lent is the perfect time to explore this path to deepen your relationship with God.
We are offering a four-part series on the basics of contemplative prayer, 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesdays March 13 & 20, April 3 & 10.
We will offer these presentations in the Gathering Space, prior to meeting for contemplative prayer in the chapel. Contemplative prayer is a silent time of receptive prayer in which we practice resting in God. It fosters intimacy with God and a new way of seeing and living in our world. All are welcome to join us as we practice this ancient form of prayer together.
We will offer contemplative prayer every Wednesday of Lent, except for Ash Wednesday. Join us!
Wondering how you can make your Lenten observation more meaningful? Attend weekly Stations and Soup to embrace our spirituality and celebrate our community! The prayer book we use captures the last hours of Jesus’ life in a way that’s personal and relatable. Kids are always welcome.
After Stations, you’re invited to join us in the Gathering Space for a warm bowl of soup, delicious bread, and fellowship. The cost? A freewill offering to Operation Rice Bowl.
Stations begin at 5:30 p.m., with soup right afterwards. Just stop by on your way home from work, sports practice, etc.
Interested in making soup? Have time to help serve or clean up? We’d love to hear from you! Contact Vicky Franchino at 238.8219 or email@example.com.
