We actively recruit parent and community volunteers in our classrooms and within our church. The safety and well-being of our children and parishioners is of utmost importance to us. We follow the Diocesan Safe Environment Program through the Office of Safe Environment.
In order to volunteer at Our Lady Queen of Peace Parish to work regularly with children; transport others in the course of service; and/or have access to large amounts of parish, school, or diocesan monies, volunteers must meet requirements outlined by the Diocesan Office of Safe Environment. Please contact the parish safe environment coordinator for information.
We treat background check information with strict confidentiality. Safe Environment compliance is completed online at VIRTUS.org using a personal login and password created by you. Results are sent directly to the Diocesan Office of Safe Environment.
